Insight

Pulselive works closely with the ICC and their commercial partners to create and deliver a digital and social strategy which fulfils their objective of ‘capitalising on digital to create value for the ICC and their stakeholders’. Our remit also extends to broadcast and in-venue integration and identifying and executing fan engagement opportunities across multiple touch points.

Technology

We’ve developed a new digital platform for the ICC which has consolidated all of their tournament sites under one domain -- icc-cricket.com – a process which involved significant content migration work. The new platform is home to all the ICC’s major tournament sites including the ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC World T20, ICC Champions Trophy and the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup. We also provide managed SEO services, which have seen the ICC’s organic search impressions increase by 178% in the last 12 months.

UX & Design

Using the ICC’s corporate and event brand guidelines, Pulselive created a consistent user interface that flows through all of the ICC’s digital properties. We developed a cross-platform flexible UI toolkit and template structure which can accommodate multiple pages and content requirements and by taking a mobile-first approach, the user experience is seamless, from mobile, to tablet, to desktop.

Social Media

Pulselive is responsible for planning and implementing the ICC’s social media strategy with the core goal of promoting the global game and driving referrals to the ICC’s digital properties. We work closely with the ICC to plan, manage and execute a content strategy across their social media properties, with the added benefit that the ICC benefit from Pulselive’s relationships with all of the major social media networks.

Live Content

As the digital division of Hawk-Eye, Pulselive has access to huge volumes of data. We’ve developed visually enhanced live match centre and scoring services as well as engaging analytical graphics that sit alongside blogs, editorial and VOD content to deliver immersive experiences for the ICC’s audiences. We also worked alongside Hawk-Eye to produce and stream live World T20 and Cricket World Cup qualifiers exclusively across icc-cricket.com.
